Vivian began her advertising career in 1999, working at M&C Saatchi and Ogilvy & Mather in Hong Kong. She then moved to London, where she became an art & cultural columnist for Hong Kong readers. In 2012, she joined W+K Shanghai as a creative director, bringing with her a multicultural background and a unique global and local perspective.

She has parlayed this into a knack for creating integrated campaigns for global brands such as Nike, BMW, Levi's, Corona, and HP Omen. And she was the leading force behind one of the socially most successful campaigns for Tiffany and Ikea, which remarkably grew their fanbase and engagement.

Since Vivian took the helm as Executive Creative Director, the office has experienced significant growth not just in size but also in the diversity of talent and clients. Her creative leadership was the driving force behind Nike's hugely successful woman campaigns and its first Chinese New Year campaign. She was honored as one of the “11 Global Creative Leaders Shaping the World’s Most Innovative Marketing” by Adweek in 2020 and ‘Women to Watch Greater China 2021” by Campaign Asia.

In 2023, she was named Chief Creative Officer, overseeing creative output for W+K Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul and Singapore.
