Airbnb: Summer

Summer is a prime time for people to disconnect from the stress of school and social expectations to truly create lasting memories with family and friends. Most accommodations, however, limit the opportunity to create deep memories.

Through this Airbnb’’s “Summer” campaign, we showed China’s travelers that they can bond and travel better through the unplanned moments they can only experience with Airbnb. Every Airbnb home is unique, just like every host, every area, and every culture.

We created a series of 15-second short films that captured the summer moments. The unplanned production process helped encapsulate the authentic experience that comes with staying at an Airbnb. There was no script, no plot, no storyline—the only instruction was to travel. Everything captured along the way was simply natural feelings from the journey, portraying a truly unforgettable summer.
